A few months ago I was invited by Lisa Light of Destination Bride to attend a wedding planner tour in Lenox, Massachusetts where I off course felt tight at home and met some amazing wedding planners. Growing up in Massachusetts, you would think I knew of Lenox but with all honestly, I had never really ever heard of it and off course I attended. After a two hour drive from Logan Airport, I was welcomed by an amazing town and lots of lovely surprises.

The Berkshires, all around is just stunning! The history, some of the friendliest people you’ll ever meet, amazing venues, inns, estates, B & B’s had me smiling from ear to ear and are still calling my name to go back.

During the tour we visited so many great venues which we’ll feature in other posts but I had the joy of staying at the Seven Hills Mansion where I was pampered by the innkeepers Robin Wong and her amazing staff. The mansion is so beautiful with old world charm and glowing hardwood floors. The mansion has beautiful grounds with stunning flowers and would make a beautiful ceremony site. I cannot wait to be able to bring a bride to Seven Hills!

Part of the tour, all the planners had a challenge. Yep, we were challenge to choose an invitation suite from Crane & Co’s invitation line, and design a table around it. I chose a gold letterpress invitation which mesh well with the flowers, compliments of Seagroatt Riccard, linens, china and glassware, compliments of Classical Tent & Party Rentals and what’s a challenge without an amazing photographer to capture the end result? For that, I had the pleasure of working with the very talented Tricia McCormack who was just a delight to work with. Yes, this is work and I know…..I have a really tough job buy hey, somebody has to do it.
